"My sweet Ross, my shining star above, mommy misses you more everyday. There was nothing harder than holding you in my arms and kissing you goodbye. I ask myself if it would have been easier to have not gone through this pain at all, but that would be worse, I can't imagine not knowing you. I may not be able to hold you in my arms, but holding you in my heart is keeping me going. I can't imagine my life without you being a part of it. Please know that there will never be a day that I do not think about you or miss you. You may have only been in my arms a few short hours, but you have changed my life. I promise to be a better person for you.. so I can get to heaven and hold you again. I love you baby boy."
